Vehicle Sign Writing
Vehicle signage can either be traditionally hand painted or have vinyl letters, lettering and digital prints applied to them, fulfilling customer requirements from design to application.
There are different options for sign writing but generally hand painting letters would take longer than the vinyl application.
For the sign painting we use only the best sign painting enamel, Oneshot enamels have great opacity and longevity with a large colour range.
With the vinyl letters we use Oracle 651 vinyl which is totally fit for purpose and will last between 7 & 8 years. We don’t claim to be the cheapest but we use the best quality vinyls to ensure a perfect job everytime.

Vehicle sign writing is a great way to raise awareness of your products or services: transforming an existing vehicle into a mobile advertisement.
Applying sign writing to your vehicle will not damage your paintwork, as long as it is sound when the vinyl decal goes on.
However if your paintwork has not bonded properly to the surface, already has stone chips, abrasions, or rust patches – or your car has undergone a re-spray – it’s important to remember that when the vinyl is removed it may pull loose paint/lacquer off with it.
Yes, but this comes at an extra cost.
If you do not have finished artwork, we may offer a recommendation and provide a mockup for your consideration, but we will retain copyright unless the job is paid for – you will be invoiced if you give the design to someone else to work from.
All payments for these services must be made in advance.
It depends on the background surface and the location.
A surface that uses unsuitable material or is not properly prepared will degrade faster and take the signwriting with it, and exposure to the elements and pollution can also have an effect.
On a well-prepared surface, exterior signwriting should stay in good condition for a minimum of seven years, and in practise will often be good for much longer. Interior work is less likely to degrade, and some 2,000-year-old examples survive.
